Nurse Administrator

The desired candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team and must be able to prioritise their own workload to ensure completion of tasks. All duties are to be performed in a professional manner to ensure the highest level of service is provided.

This post involves high quality, high output working ensuring that enquiries are dealt with appropriately in accordance with departmental standards. Duties will include liaising with medical staff in the administration of recall systems, the administration of vaccination appointments, running audits, administration of staff rotas and holiday charts and administration work in assisting the Lead Nurse.

Some clinical knowledge will be an advantage but not essential.

IT knowledge (both Word & Excel) is essential for this role and NHS experience would be advantageous in particular some clinical knowledge although not essential.

Full training will be given. This role is for 20 hours per week and is at this stage a maternity cover position.

Part Time Receptionists wanted for a busy Doctors Surgery

Candidates must have a good telephone manner and strong communication skills; need to be friendly/ efficient and able to carry out a full range of reception duties; have good filing and administrative skills; IT literate.

Full training will be given, however candidates with medical reception knowledge would be preferred.

Hours per week to be agreed (inc Friday pm) – ideally we are looking for at least 21.5 hours.
