Manages the patient advisors’ team and works closely with the practice manager to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Most of your regular contacts with our surgery will be made via our experienced patient advisors e.g., appointments, telephone enquiries and administrative tasks. They have an important and very professional role to play in our surgery. We have a range of clinical professions working at the surgery, our patient advisors are trained to offer you the most appropriate appointment and this will not always be with a GP.

Please take the opportunity to choose the telephone call back option when the telephone lines are busy, if you hang up to try later you will go to the back of the queue. The call back option keeps you in the queue and our system will automatically phone you back!

We can see the telephone waiting times and how many calls are in the queue, and we react accordingly to provide additional staff by taking them from other roles to help manage the demand. Can we please ask that you treat our staff with respect and courtesy they work very hard to provide a first-class service.
