Walk in Clinic has been Suspended

The drop in COVID Clinics at the Cheltenham Fire Station have been suspended. There will be no drop in service from the 3.4.22 until further notice. This is to prepare for surgeries to do their Spring Covid Boosters.

Covid Boosters for 75yrs and over

St Georges Surgery will be doing the 1st Spring Covid Boosters on Friday morning April 29th. These will be at the Fire Station not at the surgery. You will receive an invitation shortly, these are for patients aged

75 years and above and any patients who are immunosuppressed and due for their 4th Booster, you will also be sent an invitation to book your appointment please don’t telephone the practice.

Could we put out a plea for families to help any relatives who are housebound to attend the Fire Station, housebound patients require two clinical staff to be out of practice to administer the Covid Boosters and we would sincerely appreciate your help due to the demands and level of sickness we are experiencing.

Please note that in order to do the Covid Boosters we have to use our own clinicians and administration staff, this leaves the surgery with a skeleton staff on this date and we would appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

Covid Boosters for 5-11 year olds

The Covid Boosters for the children ages 5-11 years will be again done at the fire station and we are planning to do this on Friday 13th May in the afternoon, invitations will be going out shortly.

As with all vaccinations, please wear appropriate clothing to enable us to deliver the vaccination in a timely manner.

Flu vaccination 22/23

We would like to give you two further dates for your diaries. Saturday September 24th & Saturday October 1st we are planning this years Flu vaccination programme please keep these dates free. We will be

Vaccinating the 65 years and over and patients who are at risk. These will be done at St Georges Surgery and appointments will be sent out at a later date.

Last year’s age group for the well 50-64 have not been included in 22/23 flu campaign and therefore we will be unable to vaccinate.

Thank you the St Georges Surgery team.
