Simone Sweeten

Lead nurse

Simone has been working at the practice since 2013. She is an independent prescriber with a keen interest in diabetes. Her other duties include travel vaccinations, baby vaccination clinics, cervical screening, ear irrigation, wound care, and general practice nursing duties.

Emily Rudge

Practice nurse

Emily has been working at the practice since 2009. Her clinical interests are in asthma & COPD. Her other duties include travel vaccinations, baby vaccination clinics, vaccinations, wound care, and general practice nursing duties.

Victoria Macfarlane

Practice nurse

Victoria has been at the practice since 2021. Her duties include long term condition reviews, baby vaccination clinics, ear irrigation, smoking cessation, vaccinations, cervical screening, wound care, and general practice nursing duties.

Laura Hampson

Practice nurse

Laura started at the practice in 2023 and has since then taken on the practice lead for infection control. Her duties include long term condition reviews, NHS health checks, wound care, and general practice nursing duties.

Elizabeth Haselden

Practice nurse

Elizabeth is the newest member of the nursing team but started as a practice nurse in 2021. Her duties include long term condition reviews, NHS health checks, baby immunisations, cervical screening, wound care and general practice nursing duties

Ele Gould

Phlebotomist

Ele started at the practice in 2020 and provides phlebotomy clinics on Monday and Friday afternoons, she also works at Cheltenham General Hospital.

Danielle Whiting

Phlebotomist/ healthcare assistant- NHS health checks, hypertension reviews

Danielle has been at the practice since 2023. She works every day, providing blood test appointments, NHS health checks and hypertension reviews.

Marianne Hughes

Healthcare coordinator

We have been lucky enough to have Marianne with us since 2014. She seeks to ensure that we are providing a quality service to improve care for adults with complex medical problems and who are at risk of hospital admission. She is involved with the unplanned admissions register, frailty and care homes.

Sarah Symes

Nurse administrator

Sarah started at the practice during 2022. Her main responsibilities include managing the diabetic administration & appointments, recalls & invitations, and supporting the nursing team.  

Rachel Norman

IT administrator

Rachel joined St George’s in 2023 and has previous receptionist experience. She is now part of our administration team, and manages the long-term condition recalls, and routine nurse appointments. She assists with supporting of the nursing team and provides general IT support.
